Volunteers may be asked to assist with a variety of tasks taking place at our warehouse. Tasks vary by day and often times by week. Your flexibility is appreciated!
Food Sorting
Help us sort donated dry goods, meat or produce to distribute to our neighbors in need.
Snack Packs
Pack bags of nutrient dense, delicious, and easy to prepare meal options for children in public schools to take home during the weekends and breaks where they will otherwise be missing the meals provided at school.
Support/Training
Volunteer parking is in the grassy lot at the far end of our facility. Please arrive 10 minutes before the shift wearing comfortable, weather appropriate clothing. Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes are required. No tank tops, crop tops and no Crocs! Volunteers will be given a brief orientation and instructions from our staff and provide support and supervision throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time
- Ability to lift 10-30 pounds
Age Requirements
Minimum age of 16 is required for our warehouse shifts. Volunteers 16 &17 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian and show ID verifying age 16 and over.
Reminder
We welcome you to volunteer with friends, family or co-workers. If you will be volunteering as a group, please be sure to respond to this opportunity using the "respond as a team" feature. All volunteers must be registered as we cannot accommodate walk-ins.
