Event Overview
For our Harvest Helpings distribution, help us give back to our community as we
give out turkeys and other essentials for a full holiday meal to kickstart Jacksonville's
festive spirit. This event takes place at the Everbank Stadium, Lot Z, 607 Palmetto St, Jacksonville FL 32202. Volunteers will assist with setup, packing food,
distributing food and cleanup.
Schedule
Please
arrive at 12:00pm. for a brief orientation and instructions from our staff. Once
our driver unloads the truck, volunteers will be assigned tasks. Food
distribution begins at 2pm. Volunteers will help break down and clean up the
event and we will be finished at 4:00 p.m.
Parking
Follow the signs to the parking area.
Attire
This
event takes place outdoors, so make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
Closed toe and closed heel shoes are required.
Traffic Director Duties
Manage the flow of
cars in and out of the distribution line. Must be comfortable standing and
walking, potentially in the sun and/or rain.
