Who We Are
We need volunteers to help us to maintain high quality standards for all food that is distributed to our community through our facility. As a volunteer in our warehouse you will sort and inspect donated food or help pack meal kits for our neighbors in need.
What We Do
**You will enter through black gates into the parking lot. At the entrance of the warehouse, you will see a large column with "Feeding Northeast Florida". The new location sometimes redirects people different routes, so I want to make sure everyone knows to look for black gates and the large column.**
Arrival: You will enter the lobby first and will be guided to the volunteer training room.
**If you do not meet with the receptionist, you will head through the glass set of double doors, go straight ahead to another set of wooden double doors, and then directly to your left to the first door on the left into the Volunteer Training Room.**
Attire: Our warehouse does not have heat or a/c, so please dress comfortably and closed toe/closed heel shoes are required.
Food/Beverages: We have water stations, but please feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks for the shift.
Personal Belongings: There is a designated area for volunteers. Volunteers can leave their belongings in that area, but if you would like to leave any personal belongings behind, you can do that as well.
Service Hours (if applicable): Once the shift has ended, please contact a coordinator to receive either a letterhead or volunteer log form for verification of service hours completed.
